Spirits Administrator Ref: SPW1001

Location: Worcester

Purpose: To manage and action the administrative tasks in the Spirits department. Ensure OTIF to the distilling plants is met and maintained. The incumbent should ensure that the Financial Controller: Spirits & Supply Chain is informed on all financial matters for effective decision making and alignment across Operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Undergraduate Qualification could be to your advantage)
  • 2-3 years SAP experience
  • 1-2 years work experience on Customs and Excise
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office and SAP)

 Job Summary:

  • Ensure on time and in full delivery to the distilling plants
  • Do monthly stock take recons
  • Verification and Maintaining of Asset Register
  • Ensure Customs and Excise is adhered to for product movements
  • Submit and Maintain filing system for SARS documentation.
  • Ensure correct excise documentation is supplied to Chief Officer : Customs & Excise
  • Create & Capture SAP transfers, Issue and Goods receipts on production orders, Job cards, requisitions, Reports
  • Compile monthly recons: SARS acquittal recon, credit card, water usage, electricity
  • Administration of site services.
  • Procurement of general use items for Worcester site in accordance to the budget.
  • Communication with creditors department (invoice receipt & payments)
  • Communication with DAFF (export permits)
  • Weekly and monthly reports on PO’s, Job cards, wine/ spirits intake.
