Location: Paarl

Purpose: The incumbent needs to ensure that they enable and support the Packging team to execute production on time and in full. Ensure that they will be responsible for and continually strive to do their part to endure that only a
safe, quality product, that meets all applicable standards and requirements is manufactured.

Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12
• 2-3 years’ experience in a production environment
• Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime if and when required.

Knowledge required:

• Knowledge and understanding of HACCP in a production environment
• Good understanding of Manufacturing Process
• Understanding Quality in a production environment
• Basic knowledge of process control systems and standards

Skills required:

• Basic numerical and technical skills
• Administration skills
• Good communication skills (English &  Afrikaans)
• Able to work individually and in a team
• Problem identification
• High attention to detail
• Target driven and focused on continuous improvements

Job summary:

• Implement good housekeeping, hygiene and safety practices
• Assist machine operator with cleaning and first line maintenance tasks
• Assist with ad hoc duties as and when required
• Meet all requirements within set timeframes as per production schedule
• Consistently comply with workplace standards and practices
• Ensuring all procedures are followed regarding process control
• To pay close attention to the condition of incoming materials and outgoing finished products.
