We are offering the opportunity for students to gain hands on practical experience in wine production with our Wine- and viticulture team for the 2027 Harvest, commencing January 2027. The candidates will have the opportunity to work close with the winemakers gaining experience in the production of different winemaking techniques and wine styles. Vineyard visits with the viticulture team will give valuable insight on vineyard management for different cultivars and wine regions.

Minimum requirements:

• Final year students in Viticulture and Oenology from a tertiary institution (Preference will be given to candidates with winemaking experience and/or a degree/diploma in viticulture and oenology)
• Strong work ethic
• Effective communicator
• Passion for wine and wine production
• Must be a team player
• Attention to detail
• Can-do attitude

Duties:

• Offloading and crushing of grapes
• Additions
• Pump overs and punch downs
• Pressing
• Filling barrels
• Rackings
• Monitoring of fermentations
• Basic Laboratory work
• Cleaning
• Working overtime and weekends when required
