Location: Paarl

Purpose: To plan, execute, supervise & control all activities connected with the inventory control, effective handling, storage &  transportation of all finished goods from the point of arrival through to assembly of orders in correct quantity, time &  condition to ensure that the depot operates at maximum efficiency. Liaise closely with the immediate Team Leader, Admin, relevant Head Office Personnel and relevant external parties. The incumbent is responsible for and will continually strive to ensure that only food safe and quality services that meet all applicable standards and requirements (legal, regulatory and client), are supplied with integrity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with mathematics as a preference.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, or a related field (advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Stock Controller in a FMCG Warehouse.
• Must be computer literate (MS Excel)
• SAP Knowledge

Job Summary:

• Accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards.
• Requested goods are delivered on time.
• Required products are readily available.
• Maintain contact with clients and suppliers to establish good working relationships.
• System functionality is maintained or improved.
• Supervise the maintenance of warehouses/storerooms and proper management of stock.
• All non-conforming stock is blocked.
• Monthly Variances (FTR) excluding breakages.
• Demonstrate innovation and continuous process improvement.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures related to SHE & ISO 14001.
• Warehouse is kept clean at all times.
