There once was a man named Patrick J. O’Flaherty, a whiskey salesman by trade, who went about the pubs of Cork Distilleries Co. But with his habit of buying rounds for the County Cork pubgoers, and the gregarious mood he brought with, soon enough the locals were shouting down bartenders for more of “Paddy’s Whiskey.” And so, Paddy Irish Whiskey was born.
